My friend Sofanya came up with a wonderful way to mark September 11th -- a Paint for Peace Day, in which a pre-built and disassembled sculpture's pieces are painted by anyone who wants to participate. At the end of the day the sculpture is assembled and admired; a truly constructive antidote to that grim anniversary. | |||||||||||||||||||||||
