The Lost Hieroglyph
The Characters
Fritz Leiber's reputation as an author and literary agent was already secure when he fell in love with Margaux Burroughs.

Their honeymoon in
MidPacifica brought Ray and Ceel together (but that's another story). Since then Fritz and Margaux have set a new standard for zestful living in their Third Chapter of life, including a stint on Dancing With the Stars.

A winner of multiple
Hugo and Nebula Awards, Mr. Leiber's many works include The Blades of Ramhknal, Witchwife and The Long Show.

The San Francisco "Call"
Star of stage and screen, Margaux Leiber was the toast of the town when she made her own debut many years ago in The Big Desire.

Her marriage to
Sam "Hap" Burroughs, the legendary explorer and rocket pilot, was one of the great love stories of the 20th Century, and his death on the first flight to Jupiter was a terrible blow to her and their many fans.

Her courage and subsequent marriage to the famous author
Fritz Leiber has been an inspiration the world over, and they are much in demand as celebrities. That's a good thing, since her daughter and son-in-law are two of the most famous people in America!

Mrs. Margaux Leiber
Dr. Mike Brackett, Ray's younger brother, received his Ph. D in anthropology at the University of Illinois and has already conducted important archaeological research on six continents.

The De Jong Museum of Marin County engaged him to find the TanarKenar, a lost Martian book, so that a translation may be displayed on Earth. Its director, Courtland Niles, sent him to Mars on an expedition. Dr. Brackett set out in search of the Lost Library of Taqueyar, but there's been no word from him in two months.
